EXPERIENCE A NEW KIND OF WINTER
As Mother Nature makes her way to the mountains for another season of alpine good times, Big Bear Mountain Resort (BBMR) is working on refining the Health + Safety Guidelines that are currently in place at our twin properties – Bear Mountain and Snow Summit – for winter 20/21.
Operations at BBMR this winter will differ from previous seasons. To provide the best experience possible while accounting for the wellbeing of our guests, employees, and community, several new policies will be in place for the 20/21 season. Please see below for more information and check back for additional updates as they become available.
OPERATING DATES
Winter operations at Big Bear Mountain Resort typically begin in November and conclude in March/April, conditions permitting. BBMR planned operating dates do not include a minimum season duration guarantee and opening dates for Bear Mountain and Snow Summit for winter 2020/21 will be announced soon.
BASE AREA ACCESS
All guests must have a valid lift ticket, season pass, or reservation to receive gated entry access to the Bear Mountain or Snow Summit base areas this winter. At this time, advance reservations are not required at BBMR, but anyone attempting to access the base areas without a valid lift ticket, season pass, or reservation, if applicable, will be denied entry. Lift tickets, season passes, and lesson/rental reservations will be available for purchase online, on the BBMR mobile app, at the Bear Mountain and Snow Summit ticket windows, or by calling 844.GO2.BEAR. Guests must also wear face coverings in all public spaces and should practice social distancing at all times during their visit.
2020/21 SEASON PASSES
BBMR is committed to making this winter worry-free for our passholders by offering several options to provide peace of mind for the 20/21 season.
Adventure Assurance: Provides flexibility for the 20/21 season by offering eligible BBMR and Ikon Pass holders the option to defer the purchase price paid of their unused 20/21 pass to the 21/22 season. 20/21 BBMR passholders may elect to defer on or before Dec. 10, 2020. 20/21 Ikon Pass holders may elect to defer on or before April 11, 2021. Visit the Adventure Assurance policy page for full details.
Pass Preserver: BBMR season passes are non-refundable and non-transferable, therefore we highly recommend adding Pass Preserver to your season pass purchases to insure against many unforeseen circumstances that may arise. For more information about season lengths, pass options, and/or adding Pass Preserver to your pass purchase please call 844.GO2.BEAR.
2020/21 BBMR and Ikon Pass season passes are now on sale.
